Tarot readings are a way to access what is going on in your life right now. We've all had the experience of looking for something so hard for so long, only to find it was in our hand or right in front of our face the whole time. Tarot helps make things clearer so you can see what's going on around you and within you. Once you are able to see your situation for what it is, it is easier to make the best decision possible. In these readings, tarot is not used to predict the future. I believe the future is mutable; always changing. Therefore, the system that I use for tarot readings focuses on you life now. This can be done by examining what is going on in present circumstance through the cards (general reading); or by examining what is going on with your energy through the cards (chakra reading). Chakras In the tarot chakra readings offered, I work with the seven main chakras of the body. Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel, or vortex. These are energy centers, or vortexes, through which energy flows from one being to another. When they are balanced, you have maximum health and vitality. The First Chakra is also known as the root chakra. On women, it is resonates from the cervix of the uterus. On men, it is located between the genitals and the anus. The color red is associated with this chakra. Here you will find the need for physical safety. Here is where we relate to the material world; where we plant our roots; how we feel about being on earth. The Second Chakra is also known as the sacral chakra. It is located at the pubic bone. Associated with this chakra are the color orange and the reproductive organs. Here is where your sex drive and creativity are housed. From here, we can experience our creativity, and understand our sexuality. The Third Chakra is also known as the solar plexus chakra. It is located in the lower thoracic area of the diaphragm. This chakra is associated with the color yellow and the adrenals and pancreas. Here is where your will connects with the will of the divine. Also, self-esteem is housed here. From this chakra we are able to choose peace and embrace self discipline. The Fourth Chakra is also known as the heart chakra. It is located between the breasts; linking it to the heart and thymus. The color green is associated with this chakra. Here is where you experience forgiveness and unconditional love. It reflects our connectedness to all things. This is where the upper and lower chakras join. Issues with love and unforgiveness will show up here. The Fifth Chakra is also known as the throat chakra. It is located on the throat and linked to the thyroid gland. The color blue is asociated with the fifth chakra. Your will and communicative abilities are located here. You make your choices from your fifth chakra. This is where you speak your truth with love. Choose to be a channel for truth. The Sixth Chakra is also know as the brow chakra. Sometimes it is reffered to as the third-eye. It is located between your eyebrows. The color indigo is associated with this chakra; as is the pituitary gland. Your clairvoyant, or psychic, abilities are housed here. Here you are able to see the past and the future, and live in the now. When this chakra is balanced, your vision is without judgement or attachment to outcome. The Seventh Chakra is also known as the crown chakra. It is located on the top of the head, or the crown, and is connected to the pineal gland. The color violet is associated with this chakra. This is where you receive divine inspiration. Here is where we become one with all things.
